ESPN has been embarking on a digital transformation across streaming and commerce. I’ve had the pleasure of hiring, leading, and managing the team of designers creating the vision and execution of our new ESPN digital product offerings and “flagship” experiences. The culmination of many years of work was made accessible to fans on August 21st, 2025. The National Day Archives went as far as designating Thursday August 21 as “National ESPN App Day”.
On our way to bringing fans our updated digital commerce and streaming product, we overhauled our commerce and account management experience across all platforms, unified our Marketing Landing and Email Template experiences, added new navigation and ways to browse content, and included ESPN brand moments to accentuate the preeminent sports destination for fans. We also planned for and launched all of the infrastructure and commerce funnels for the disbanded Venu Sports product. The name and pricing for the ESPN DTC service was announced at the Disney Upfront ‘25 along with additional pricing and service options, which I had the pleasure to support. I’m excited for fans to get their hands on all of the features and experiences we’ve created for ESPN. The future is a truly connected sports experience for all ESPN fans.
