About Me

My name is Charles Smith, and I am currently an MFA candidate in the Interactive Design and Game Development department at Savannah College of Art and Design.  Prior to SCAD, I earned a degree in Mathematics with a minor in Game Studies and Design at the University of Montevallo.  Outside of work, I spend a vast amount of time playing games, both digital and non-digital.  My current professional goals revolve around designing interactive systems, interfaces, or balancing game systems for competitive environments.

I have a passion for Interface Design for digital devices and real world objects. Recently, I have been working as an Interaction Design Professional Intern at Disney Parks and Resorts Digital. Prior to Disney, my works have successfully launched on Kickstarter, been installed in the Jepson Center, allowed me to work with BMW,  and was given the opportunity to work with leading game media company Curse Inc.
